Yes – and you're looking at it! Most companies that can create framed patents email you a proof days after you've paid; we'd rather you see yours before you spend anything, which is why we spend the time setting them up. The personalized page you received is your proof: what you see in the preview, with the frame and options you choose, is what we produce. Placing your order is your approval, so please look everything over carefully before you buy.

Please do — it's a natural gift. On our homepage, you can input the name of the person you want to gift as well as your email and we'll get back to you with proofs. Companies: we take group orders for one inventor or a whole team, each piece personalized to its own inventor – use the group-order request or email hello@patently-gifted.com.

The USPTO grants new patents every Tuesday and publishes each one in its Official Gazette – a public record anyone can read. We read it the week your patent was granted; that's how we found you, and it's why your own patent drawing is already waiting on your page. We're not affiliated with the USPTO, and you don't owe anyone anything – your patent is granted and complete whether or not you ever order from us. If you have questions about the patent itself, your patent attorney is the right person to ask.

Every named inventor earned it, and every named inventor can have their own piece — same patent number, personalized to each of you. If you'd like to remove someone from the group order (sometimes colleagues have departed, etc.), then you have the option to do this on your personalized page.

A typical U.S. order arrives in approximately 8–10 business days: about 5 business days for production, followed by an average of 3–5 business days for delivery. We'll email you tracking the moment yours ships. Every plaque is made fresh for your patent. We promise it will arrive faster than patent approval is granted!

Very close – and in one way, better. Screens make color with light and we print with ink on metal, so printed color and contrast will vary slightly from what your particular screen shows. The bigger difference: where your screen shows pale grey, the finished piece is bare brushed aluminum — we print no white ink, so the light areas are the metal itself, catching real light and changing with the room. That show-through is the signature of the aluminum format.

We replace it, free. Email hello@patently-gifted.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the damage – a shot of the packaging helps too – and we'll put a new plaque into production at no cost to you. Shipping damage is ours to fix, never yours to argue about.

If you don't love it, we'll make it right — replace it or refund it, within 30 days of delivery. Because you approve your proof before anything is printed, problems are rare; but made-just-for-you doesn't mean stuck-with-it.
